It is unique of Buddhist tradition to demonstrate immortal friendship among characteristically different beings i.e. elephant, monkey, rabbit and bird. This thangka promotes high Buddhist morality of tolerance, friendship and unity to achieve any goal of life.An elephant supports a monkey, who supports a rabbit and the rabbit supports a bird to take the fruits from the tree. This painting gives a noble example of collective efforts in livelihood.
